Mehitabel Sackett, daughter of Eli Sackett and Sarah ___, was born on 3 August 1782.^1,2 She died aged 51 in North Haven, New Haven County, Connecticut^G, on 16 May 1834^1,2 and was buried at the Old Cemetery, North Haven^G.⁴ She married in North Haven^G on 22 January 1801, Philemon Pierpont, son of Benjamin Pierpont and Sarah Blakeslee.^1,2,3 After Mehitabel's death, Philemon married second on 28 May 1835, Bede Blakeslee, daughter of Joel Blakeslee and Elisabeth Sackett.¹ Philemon was born about 1780.¹ He died aged about 84 in North Haven^G on 23 February 1865¹ and was buried at the Old Cemetery, North Haven^G.⁴
