Maurice Edmund Sackett, son of Lyman Sackett and Lucinda Kelsey, was born in Goodhue County, MinnesotaG, on 17 June 1859.1 He died aged 91 in Los Angeles County, CaliforniaG, on 3 August 19501 and was buried at the Greenwood Cemetery, Newcastle, Weston County, WyomingG.1 He married in about 1890, Lydia E. Bergstreser.1
     In 1860 Maurice was living in Cherry Grove, Goodhue County, MinnesotaG, in the household of his parents Lyman and Lucinda, and was recorded in the census as Maurice Sackett, aged one and born in Minnesota.2
