George Sackett
(early 1600s-after 1652)
George Sackett, of Thanet, Kent, was born in the early 1600s. He married first at St Lawrence in Thanet, KentG, on 7 November 1631, Susanna Curling.1 She was buried at St Peter in ThanetG on 4 July 1646.2 He married second, Dorothy ___, probably in ThanetG, in about 1647, based on the birth of their first child, Dorothy.
It would appear that there were two George Sacketts in Thanet at this time. It may be assumed that they were not the same man as the marriage of a George Sackett to Jane, in 1639, took place during the lifetime of this George's wife Susanna.
