Burr Dewitt Sackett, merchant, son of Charles C Sackett and Julia E Galoway, was born in MichiganG in about 1873.2 He married in Windsor, Essex County, Ontario, CanadaG, on 13 December 1909, Villa Ledwith, daughter of Charles Ledwith and Orvilla Reynolds.3
     Burr completed a World War I draft registration card on 12 September 1918. He was aged 45 and was living at 220 West Jefferson Street, Grand Ledge, Eaton County, MichiganG. He was a self-employed merchant.4
