Wiseman Claggett Nichols, son of Jonathan Nichols and Tryphenia "Phene" Sackett, was born in Thetford, Orange County, VermontG, on 23 March 1801.1 He died aged 82 in Cardington, Morrow County, OhioG, on 27 April 1883.1 He married in Ripley, Chautauqua County, New York StateG, on 22 October 1829, Fivilla Cass.1
