Ralph Aloyious Todd, house painter, son of John Alexander Todd and Mary Elizabeth Iliff, was born in Cheltenham, Montgomery County, PennsylvaniaG, on 1 February 1885.1 He died aged 84 in Philadelphia County, PennsylvaniaG, on 6 February 1969.1 He married first in Philadelphia CountyG on 12 October 1910, Ellen M. O'Hara.1 He married second in Philadelphia CountyG on 7 June 1935, Helen Victoria Kirrane.1
     In 1920 Ralph was living at Griscom Street, Frankford, Philadelphia, PennsylvaniaG, and was recorded in the census as Ralph A Todd, head of household, a repairman in a traction company, married, aged 33 and born in Pennsylvania. His home was rented. Living with him were his wife Ellen, 27, and their children, Marcella, 8, and John, aged seven. Also in the household was Ralph's widowed father John, aged 63.2
