Archie Fay Sackett, son of George Emory Sackett and Emma Augusta Cottrell, was born on 7 October 1882.1 He married on 6 November 1903, Charity Davis, daughter of James G Davis and Ida May Herrick.2
     In 1900 Archie was living in Vaughn Township, Iron County, WisconsinG, in the household of his mother Emma, and was recorded in the census as Archie Sackett, at school, aged 17 and born in Wisconsin.3
     Archie completed a World War I draft registration card on 12 September 1918. He was aged 35 and was living at Hurley, Iron County, WisconsinG, with his wife Charity. He was employed as a framer at Olson & Berquist, a sash and door factory.1
