Edson Sylvester Sackett, son of Rolin Sackett and Lovina Edson, was born in Crawford County, PennsylvaniaG, on 9 August 1823.1 He died aged 85 in Blooming Valley, Crawford CountyG, on 16 April 1909 and was buried at Blooming Valley CemeteryG.2 He married Fidelia Goodrich. Fidelia was born in about 1823.3 She died aged 80 in Blooming ValleyG on 26 February 1904 and was buried at Blooming Valley CemeteryG.4

Mrs Edson S. Sackett died at her home in Blooming Valley Feb 26, at the age of 80 years. She is survived by her husband, one son, W.E. Sackett, of Saegertown, and two daughters, Mrs. Lavina Fleck, of Tryonville, and Miss Agnes Sackett, residing at home. The funeral was held from the Blooming Valley M.E. church at 11 a.m. Tuesday and the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery there.
