   "George S. Sackett Passes to His Reward.
   George S. Sackett died at his farm home, Friday morning Jan. 1, 1926, at 1:15, at the advanced age of 75 years 2 months and 14 days. The deceased was born in Naples, Ontario Co., New York, Oct. 18, 1850. In 1855 he came to Minnesota with his father. On Dec. 14th, 1874, he was united in marriage to Miss Phoebe Potter of Roscoe, Minn., and the union was blessed with ten children, five sons, and five daughters. Archie, who died in infancy, Alfred E. of Dodge Center; Walter O. of Mantorville; Ray of Kasson; Edward L., Mrs. Wilbur Hanners, Mrs. Roy Bennerotte, Mrs. Walter Bennerotte, Mrs. Lloyd Pierce and Mrs Roy Kramer all of West Concord. They all being with him when the end came. He is survived by his wife, 9 children, 21 grand children, 2 sisters and one brother. Funeral services were held at the Christian church, Concord, Sunday afternoon at 1:30. Rev. Ray officiating. Burial was made in the Concord Cemetery."

   Dodge Center ---Mrs. Geroge S. Sackett, 87 Years old, died yesterday at the home of her daughter after a two year illness.
   She was born in Wisconsin December 15, 1861, and came to Dodge county with her parents in 1863. She was a lifetime resident of West Concord and Dodge Center.
   The former Phoebe Potter, she was married to George Sackett December 14, 1876. He died January 1926.
   She is survived by three sons, Alfred and Edward of Dodge Center and Ray of Kasson and five daughters, Mrs Wilbert Hanners of Sargeant, Minn., Mrs Walter Bennerotte of West Concord, Mrs Lloyd Pierce of Dodge Center, Mrs Ray Dramer of Kasson and Mrs Roy Bennerotte of West Concord.
   ... Interment will be in the Old Concord cemetery. ..."
