Elmer Orlin Sackett, son of Elton Sackett and Nellie Sofia Birch, was born in MinnesotaG on 31 May 1888.1 He died aged 84 in Martin County, MinnesotaG, on 16 February 19731 and was buried at Nashville Cemetery, Truman, Martin CountyG.1 He married at Nashville Township, Martin CountyG, on 14 August 1912, Elsie Adelia Winch, daughter of James Robert Winch and Cora Adelia Herrick.1
In 1900 Elmer was living in Shelby, Blue Earth County, MinnesotaG, in the household of his parents Elton and Nellie, and was recorded in the census as Elmer E Sacket, aged twelve and born in Minnesota.2
Elmer completed a World War I draft registration card on 5 June 1917. He was then aged 29 and was a self-employed farmer. He was living in Truman, Martin CountyG, and was married with one child.3
