Thomas Mockett, shoemaker, son of Isaac Mockett and Sarah Sole, was born in St Peter in Thanet, KentG, in about 17921 and baptized at St Peter in ThanetG on 12 February 1792.2,3 He married at St Peter in ThanetG on 17 July 1813, Ann Euden.2,4
     In 1841 Thomas was living at Harbour Street, St Peter's, KentG, and was recorded in the census as Thomas Mocket, shoemaker, aged 49 and born in Kent. Living with him were his wife Ann, 42, and their children, John, 18, Edward, 16, Elizabeth, 10, and Henry, aged seven.5
