Abraham Sackett, son of Joseph Sackett and Eleanor LaRue, was born in Bucks County, PennsylvaniaG, on 27 May 1788.1,2 He died aged 79 in Bucks CountyG on 10 September 1867 and was buried at Penns Park United Methodist Church Cemetery, Bucks CountyG.3 He married in about 1815, Susannah ___.1 Susannah was born in PennsylvaniaG in about 1786.1 She died aged about 81 in 1867 and was buried at Penns Park United Methodist Church CemeteryG.4
     Abraham was listed in the census in 1810, 1820, 1830, and 1840 as a householder in Wrightstown, Bucks County, PennsylvaniaG.5,6,7,8
     Abraham was taxed in Wrightstown, Bucks CountyG, from 1811 until at least 1863. For most of those years he was a farmer, his farm comprising 72 acres. Over the years he owned from two to four horses and from two to five cattle. On the 1863 tax record he was described as a gentleman, indicating his retirement from active farming.9
     In 1850 he was living in Wrightstown, Bucks CountyG, and was recorded as Abraham Sackett, a farmer, aged 62 and born in Pennsylvania. Living with him were his wife Susan, 64, and their son Charles, 32.10
     Abraham proved his mother Eleanor's will in Bucks CountyG on 3 April 1855. Her estate was valued at $1,328.11
