Philetus Sackett, a farmer, son of Hiram Sackett and Anna Jones, was born in Carlton, Orleans County, New York StateG, on 6 December 1838.2 He died aged 62 in Wheatland, Hillsdale County, MichiganG, on 7 November 1901.2 He married in Liberty Township, Jackson County, MichiganG, on 7 February 1860, Susan Anna Owens.
