Jason Sackett, son of Hiram Sackett and Anna Jones, was born in New York StateG in 1829.2 He died aged about 69 in Hillsdale County, MichiganG, in February 1899.2 He married first in Jackson County, MichiganG, on 11 July 1849, Mary Adeline Fleetwood.2 Mary was born in New York StateG in 18292 and died aged about 66 in Hillsdale County, MichiganG, in 1895.2 He married second in Woodbridge, Hillsdale County, MichiganG, on 21 January 1897, Alzina Taylor.3 Alzina was born in about 1838.4
     In 1860 Jason was living in Liberty Township, Jackson County, MichiganG, and was recorded in the census as Jason Sackett, a carpenter, aged 30 and born in New York. Living with him were his wife Adeline, 30, and their children, Annette, 7, James, 4, and Frank, aged two.5
