George Sackett, son of Lieutenant Charles Duncan Sackett and Mary Ann Gordon, was born in IllinoisG on 11 September 1865.1,2 He married Ida Woolf.1
     In 1870 George was living in Padua, McLean County, IllinoisG, in the household of his parents Charles and Mary, and was recorded in the census as George Sackett, aged four and born in Illinois.3
     In 1880 he was living in Grove, Adair County, IowaG, and was recorded as George Sackett, at home, age 15, son of Charles Sackett.4
