Margaret Ellen Sackett, daughter of David Filer Sackett MD and Martha Milliken, was born in Centerville, Wayne County, IndianaG, on 11 November 1830.1,2 She died in Richmond, Wayne CountyG, on 15 April 1922 and was buried at Earlham Cemetery, RichmondG.3 She married first in Wayne CountyG on 31 December 1846, Calvin Conner.1,2 He was born in IndianaG in about 1825.4 He died before 1874. She married second in Cass County, IndianaG, on 3 September 1874, John Berry.5,2
     In 1850 Margaret was living in Centreville, Wayne County, IndianaG, and was recorded in the census as Ellen (Sackett) Conner, aged 21 and born in Indiana, living with her husband Calvin Conner, a carpenter, aged 25 and also born in Indiana.4

Mrs. Margaret Ellen C. Berry, 91 years old, died early Saturday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Albert E. Foster 215 North Seventeenth street.
     Death was caused by senility.
     Mrs. Berry was born in Centerville and had been a resident of Richmond and Wayne county the greater part of her life. She was the daughter of Dr. David and Martha Millikin Sackett, pioneer residents of Wayne county and was the last of a family of 12 children.
     She is survived by six children—Mrs. A.J. Shaffer, Mrs. W.R. Berry, Logansport; W.W. Connor of Windfall; Mrs. Mary C. Sullivan; Mrs. Albert Foster and Frank M. Conner, of this city. Besides her children she leaves 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Mrs. Berry had been a member of the Baptist church for 45 years.
     Funeral services will be conducted from the home of Albert Foster Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in Earlham. The Rev. R.W. Leazer, of the First Baptist Church, will officiate. Friends may call Sunday afternoon and evening.

Another of Wayne county's pioneer residents, Mrs. Margaret Ellen Berry, aged 91 years died at 4 o'clock Saturday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Albert E. Foster, 215 North Seventeenth Street. The infirmities incident to old age caused her death.
     Mrs. Berry was the last of a family of 12 children. She was born at Centerville and was the daughter of Dr. David and Martha Millikin Sackett.
     She has been a member of the Baptist church for 45 years.
     She leaves two sons, W.W. Connor of Windfall, Ind., and Frank M. Connor of this city; four daughters, Mrs. A.J. Shaffer, Mrs. W.R. Berry, Logansport; Mrs. Mary C. Sullivan and Mrs. Albert Foster; 10 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
     The funeral will be held from the home of Mrs. Foster at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon with the Rev. Mr. Leazer officiating. Interment will be in Earlham cemetery. Friends may call at any time.
