Frederick Sackett, son of John Andrew Sackett and Emma Booth, was born in Hove, Steyning, SussexG, on 24 February 18881,2 and baptized at St Andrew, HoveG, on 13 December 1891.3 He died aged 67 at home at 37 Shirley Street, HoveG, on 21 December 1955.4,5

In 1911 he was living at 46 Shirley Street, HoveG, in the household of his widowed father John, and was recorded as Frederick Sackett, working in his father's greengrocery business, single, aged 24 and born in Hove.8
Frederick served in the British Army during the First World War in the Labour Corps. He was awarded the Victory Medal and the British Medal in recognition of active service overseas.9,10
