Mabel Alice Sackett, daughter of Edward Gaskell Sackett and Alice Horsburgh, was born in Basford, NottinghamshireG, on 10 August 1887.1,2 She died aged 75 in Colwyn Bay, WalesG, on 17 April 1963.2,3 She married in NottinghamG on 12 May 1914, Frederick H Francis.2,4,5 Frederick was born on 25 August 18832 and died aged 91 in Hawarden, Deeside, Aberdeenshire, ScotlandG, on 17 May 1975.2
In 1891 Mabel was living at 35 Sherwood Rise, Basford, NottinghamshireG, in the household of her parents Edward and Alice, and was recorded in the census as Mabel Sackett, aged three and born in Nottingham.6
In 1901 she was living at 11 Burridge Road, Hyson Green, NottinghamG, in the household of her parents Edward and Alice, and was recorded as Mable Sackett, aged 13.7
In 1911 she was living at 5 Berridge Road East, NottinghamG, in the household of her parents Edward and Alice, and was recorded as Mabel Sackett, single, aged 23 and born in Nottingham.8
At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Mabel was living at Maes Y Fron, Everard Road, Colwyn BayG, with her husband Frederick, a motor vehicles sales manager, and their children, Alice and Mary.9
