Nellie Elizabeth Sackett, daughter of Thomas Alfred Sackett and Eleanor Violet Bubb, was born in Ospringe, KentG, on 25 February 19001,2,3 and baptized there on 8 April 1900.4 She died aged 72 in Hailsham, SussexG, on 27 November 1972.5,6 She married in Thanet, KentG, on 1 May 1920, James Valentine Mott.1,7,8 James was born in Thanet, KentG, on 21 November 18965,9 and died aged 86 in Trowbridge, WiltshireG, on 23 October 1983.5,10
     In 1911 Nellie was living at 16 St John's Road, Margate, KentG, in the household of her grandparents Thomas and Harriet Sackett, and was recorded in the census as Nellie Elizabeth Sackett, a schoolgirl, aged eleven and born in Ospringe, Kent.11
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Nellie was living at The Cross, High Street, Eastry, KentG, with her father Thomas.12
