Beatrice Nan "Bee" Sackett, daughter of Edward Elgar Sackett and Maria Banta, was born in Edgewater, Bergen County, New JerseyG, on 16 April 1890.1,2 She died in Atlanta, GeorgiaG, on 2 May 1985.1 She married in Englewood, New JerseyG, on 22 January 1917, Berkley Dickenson Adams, son of Samuel Chaplin Adams and Christiana Wade Adams.1
     In 1930 she was living at Bacon, Charlotte County, VirginiaG, in the household of her husband Berkley, 55, a farmer, and was recorded as Beatrice S Adams, aged 40. Living with them were their children, Edward, 11, Gordon, 8, and Rhea, aged six. Also in the household were Berkley's son Joseph, 31, by his first marriage, and a female boarder.3
