John Isaac Sackett, son of Colonel Niram Sackett and Catherine Thorn, was born in Dutchess County, New York StateG, on 5 April 1827.1,2 He died aged 70 on 27 November 1897.2 He married first in Irving, New York StateG, on 10 June 1858, Henrietta Harrison.3,2,4 Henrietta was born on 30 April 1837.4 She died aged 25 in Irving, Chautauqua County, New York StateG, on 3 February 1863.5,6 He married second at North East, PennsylvaniaG, on 6 October 1868, Jennie Watts, daughter of James Watts and Elisabeth Strachan.7,8 Jennie was born on 10 January 1841.8
