Augustine A Curtiss, son of Homer Curtiss and Clara "Charry" Everett, was born in ConnecticutG in about 1816.1,2 He married Huldah Tanner.
     In 1880 Augustine was living at Waverly, Morgan County, IllinoisG, and was recorded in the census as A A Curtiss, a farmer, head of household, married, aged 63 and born in Connecticut. Living with him were his wife Huldah, 63, and his father Homer, aged 93.3
