Maud Loretta Sackett, daughter of Frederick Gould Sackett and Mary Jane Marshall, was born in West Lebanon, Columbia County, New York StateG, on 9 December 1884.1,2 She died aged 85 in Pittsfield, Berkshire County, MassachusettsG, on 24 March 1970.2 She married in about 1910, Henry W Drowne. Henry was born in New York StateG in about 1881.
In 1900 Maud was living in New Lebanon, Columbia CountyG, in the household of her parents Fred and Mary, and was recorded in the census as Maude Sackett, at school, aged 15 and born in New York.3
In 1920 she was living in New LebanonG in the household of her husband Henry, 38, a laborer at a telephone company, and was recorded as Maude Drown, aged 35. Living with them were their children Harold, 8, Helen, 6, and George, aged four. Also in the household were Maud's sister Eva with her two children.4
