Austen Townsend Sackett, son of Charles Adams Sackett and Mary Alice Townsend, was born on 26 August 1884.1 He died aged 49 in New London, ConnecticutG, on 21 February 1934 and was buried at Cedar Grove Cemetery, New LondonG.2 He married in Delmonico's, New York CityG, on 15 June 1911, Marie Good.3
     Austen completed a World War I draft registration card on 12 September 1918. He was then aged 34 and was a field director for the American Red Cross. He was living with his wife Marie at 94 Glenwood, New London, ConnecticutG.4
