Maria "Polly" Sackett, daughter of Richard Sackett and Chloe Atherton, was born in 1772.1,2 She died aged 82 on 12 February 1854 and was buried at Old North Cemetery, Hartford, ConnecticutG.3,4 She married in Bolton, Tolland County, ConnecticutG, on 30 June 1793, Eldad Skinner.5 Eldad was born on 11 October 1769.2 He died aged 53 on 30 September 1823 and was buried at Old North Cemetery, HartfordG.4,6

After Eldad's death, Maria came to live with Philinda and Asahel and was buried in their plot after she died. Eldad was originally buried in Vernon and later moved to be laid next to his wife.
