Benjamin Sackett, son of John Sackett and Prudence Atherton, was born in New York StateG on 22 October 1777.1,2 He died aged 84 in Tyrone, Schuyler County, New York StateG, on 1 April 18623 and was buried at Weston Cemetery, TyroneG.3 He married in Wayne, Steuben County, New York StateG, in about 1812, Elizabeth Wixson.
     Benjamin was listed in the census in 1810 and 1820 as a householder in Wayne, Steuben County, New York StateG.4,5 In 1830 and 1840 he was a householder in Tyrone, Steuben CountyG.6,7
