Sarah Sackett, daughter of Francis Sackett and Sarah Walker, was born in Marygold Street, Bermondsey, SurreyG, on 4 March 18221 and baptized at St Mary's Church, Rotherhithe, SurreyG, on 7 April 1822.1 She married at St Thomas' Church, Stepney, MiddlesexG, on 8 October 1846, George Walker, sailor, son of John Walker.2,3
     In 1851 Sarah was living at 26 Albert Street, St.Paul's, Tower Hamlets, Shoreditch, MiddlesexG, and was recorded in the census as Sarah Sackett, a milliner, aged 28 and born in Bermondsey, married daughter of Francis Sackett. Sarah was recorded in her maiden name although she was by this date married to George Walker.4
