In 1911 he was living at James Street, Prescott, Grenville County, Ontario, CanadaG, in the household of his parents Martin and Marion, and was recorded as Russell Sackett, aged 12 and born in USA.5
Russell completed a World War I draft registration card on 12 September 1918. He was aged 20 and was a student living at home at 60 Waid Street, Gouverneur, St Lawrence County, New York StateG.6
