Helen Amelia Day, daughter of Frederick Day and Mary Allen Sackett, was born in OhioG on 5 May 1836.1,2,3 She died aged 79 in Nankin, Wayne County, MichiganG, on 5 November 19154 and was buried at Prairie Home Cemetery, Richland, Kalamazoo County, MichiganG.5 She married on 21 October 1858, Arora James Burrell.1 Arora was born in OhioG in 1832.3,6 He died aged about 77 in 1909 and was buried at Prairie Home CemeteryG.5
     In 1860 Helen was living in Dowagiac, Cass County, MichiganG, in the household of her husband A J Burrill, 28, a store clerk, and was recorded in the census as Helen Burrill, aged 24 and born in Ohio. Helen's mother Mary, 43, was living with them.7
     In 1880 she was living at Richland, Kalamazoo County, MichiganG, in the household of her husband Arora, 47, a farmer, and was recorded as Hellen D Burrell, aged 44 and born in Ohio. Living with them were their children, Rose, 16, and Royal, aged nine.8
