Lois Ellen Sackett, daughter of Alexander Sackett and Mary Brewster, was born in OhioG on 9 October 1851.1,2 She married at Greene County, OhioG, on 7 February 1884, Mahlon Rooks.3 She died aged 53 on 29 May 1905.1
     In 1860 Lois was living in Sugar CreekG in the household of her father Alexander and stepmother Mary, and was recorded in the census as Lois Sackett, aged nine and born in Ohio.4
