Sarah Raymond Sackett, daughter of Benjamin Sackett and Thalia Mounthrop, was born in Warren, Litchfield County, ConnecticutG, in 18341,2 and baptized at the Congregational Church of Christ, WarrenG, on 20 July 1834.3 She died aged 21 in Garnavillo, Clayton County, IowaG, on 4 July 18561 and was buried at Garnavillo CemeteryG.4
     In 1850 Sarah was living in WarrenG in the household of her parents Benjamin and Thalia, and was recorded in the census as Sarah Sackett, aged 16 and born in Connecticut.5
     Sarah and her brother Henry were admitted to membership of the Congregational Church of Christ, WarrenG, on 6 November 1853.6 They were dismissed to a church in GarnavilloG, on September 1855.6
