John Haigh Sackett, son of Judge Gary V Sackett and Harriet Haigh, was born in 1828.1 He died aged about 70 in 1898.1 He married on 26 April 1855, Mary Gilmore.1
     In 1850 John was living at Seneca FallsG in the household of his parents Garry and Hannah, and was recorded in the census as John H Sackett, a farmer, aged 22.2
