     In 1870 Herman was living in Mead, Crawford County, PennsylvaniaG, in the household of his parents Levi and Ariet, and was recorded in the census as Herman P Sacket, aged eight months.3
     In 1880 he was living in Mead, Crawford CountyG, in the household of his father Dewey and stepmother Mary, and was recorded as Herman Sackett, aged ten.4
