Clarence William Sackett, son of William Clarence Sackett and Lavina Gray, was born in Widnoon, Armstrong County, PennsylvaniaG, on 24 September 18921 and died aged 86 in Warren, Trumbull County, OhioG, on 12 February 1979.1 He married in Apollo, Armstrong CountyG, on 20 October 1911, Ethyl M. Cookerly.1 Ethyl was born in ApolloG on 28 February 18941 and died aged 76 in WarrenG on 25 February 1971.1
     Clarence completed a World War I draft registration card on 5 June 1917. He was then aged 24 and was living in the Borough of Liberty, Allegheny County, PennsylvaniaG. He was a shearman at McKeesport Tin Plate Company. He was married with two children.2
