Benjamin Sackett, son of Alfred Sackett and Eliza Crideford, was born in Teignmouth, DevonG, in 1877.1,2 He died on 14 September 1900, drowned at sea with his brother Jeremiah. They are commemorated on the family gravestone in Teignmouth CemeteryG.3
     In 1881 Benjamin was living at 12 Park Street, West TeignmouthG, in the household of his parents Alfred and Eliza, and was recorded in the census as Benjamin Sackett, aged three and born in Teignmouth.4
