Ronald Warburton Sackett, son of Samuel Alfred Sackett and Charlotte Frances "Lottie" Clark, was born in Mile End Old Town, LondonG, on 31 July 1908.1,2 He died aged 70 in Wellingborough, NorthamptonshireG, on 10 April 19793 and was cremated at Kettering Crematorium, NorthamptonshireG, on 17 April 1979.4 He married at Wellingborough, NorthamptonshireG, in 1939, Ivy Maud Corby, daughter of Harry Corby and Lizzie Mary Wisby.5,6 Ivy was born in WellingboroughG on 2 March 1912.7,8,2 She died aged 75 in KetteringG on 26 May 19879,10 and was cremated at Kettering CrematoriumG on 1 June 1987.10
In 1911 Ronald was living at 9 Rosebank Road, Bow, Poplar, LondonG, in the household of his parents Samuel and Charlotte, and was recorded in the census as Ronald Warburton Sackett, aged two and born in Bow.11
In 1921 he was living at 23 Sartoris Road, Rushden, NorthamptonshireG, in the household of his parents Samuel and Charlotte, and was recorded as Ronald Warburton Sackett, aged twelve.12
At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Ronald and Ivy were living at 90 Westfield Avenue, Rushden, NorthamptonshireG, in the household of Ivy's widowed father Harry Corby. Ronald was an Air Ministry electrical instructor at RAF Henlow, Ivy a boot machinist.13
