     In 1871 Kate was living at 9 & 10 Herbert Street, St Leonards, Shoreditch, MiddlesexG, and was recorded in the census as Kate C Hillem, aged one and born in Shoreditch. She was living with her parents Edward and Clara in the household of her grandparents John and Catherine Sackett.2
