Doris Louisa Sackett, daughter of Stephen Edward Sackett and Tryphena Butcher Maytum, was born in Birchington, KentG, on 8 November 19111,2 and baptized at All Saints, BirchingtonG, on 7 January 1912.1 She died aged 93 in KentG in December 2004.3 She was unmarried.
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Doris was living at The Old Hall, Nargate Street, Bridge and Blean Rural District, KentG. She was a domestic servant in a Twist family household.4
