Lilian G "Lily" Euden, daughter of Arthur T Euden and Kate Amelia Sackett, was born in Thanet, KentG, on 6 October 1914.1,2 She died aged 42 in Canterbury, KentG, in 1956.3 She married in ThanetG in 1933, William James Sackett, a second cousin, son of George Edward Sackett and Rosa Wilson.4,5
In 1921 Lilian was living at 3 Perfects Cottages, BirchingtonG, in the household of her widowed mother Kate, and was recorded in the census as Lilian G Euden, aged six and born in Margate.6
At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, William and Lilian were living at 7 Beatrice Road, Margate, KentG. William's parents George and Rosa were living with them.7
