Frank Francis Sackett, son of Henry Sackett and Annie Kelly, was born in St Olave Southwark, LondonG, on 19 August 1897.1,2 He died aged 58 at 125 Bromley Common, Bromley, KentG, on 6 July 1956.3,4 He married in BromleyG in 1919, Ethel Eleanor Whitehead.5,6,7 Ethel was born in Dulwich, LondonG, on 20 December 1896.2,8
In 1901 Frank was living at 5 Anthony Street, Bermondsey, LondonG, in the household of his parents Henry and Annie, and was recorded in the census as Frances [sic] Sackett, aged four and born in Rotherhithe [He was recorded incorrectly as a daughter].9
Frank served in the Royal Navy during the First World War from 12 May 1916. He was demobilised on 4 February 1919.10
In 1921 he was living at 7 Nelson Road, Bromley, KentG, and was recorded as Frank Francis Sackett, a builder's labourer, head of household, aged 23. His wife Ethel, 25, was living with him.11
At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Frank and Ethel were living at 9 Hilda Vale, Orpington, KentG. He was a plumber's hot water fitter.12
Administration of Frank's estate was granted on 6 September 1956 to his widow Ethel. His estate was valued at £2,405.13
