Henry Arthur "Timmy" Sackett, son of Timothy Patrick Sackett and Matilda Louisa Le Beau, was born in St Olave Bermondsey, LondonG, on 4 January 1916.1,2 He died aged 60 in Southwark, LondonG, in 1976.3 He was known as Timmy, like his father before him.4 He married in BermondseyG in 1939, Beatrice Lilian Gillett.5,6 Beatrice was born in St Olave Bermondsey, LondonG, on 15 November 19127,2 and died aged 82 in Milton Keynes, BuckinghamshireG, in March 1995.8
     In 1921 Henry was living at 46 St James Road, BermondseyG, in the household of his parents Timothy and Matilda, and was recorded in the census as Henry Arthur Sackett, aged five and born in Bermondsey.9
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Henry and Beatrice were living at 66 St James Road, Bermondsey, LondonG, with Henry's parents. Henry was a fruit salesman and Beatrice worked in a tinned foods factory.10
