Mary Ann Sackett Link, daughter of William Sackett and Rachel Link, was born in Canterbury, KentG, in 18671 and baptized at St Mildred Church, CanterburyG, on 24 August 1868.2 She married at CanterburyG in 1892, Alfred Howard.3,4
     In 1871 Mary was living at 4 Gas Row, Canterbury, KentG, in the household of her parents William and Rachel, and was recorded in the census as Mary Ann Sackett, aged four and born in Canterbury.5
     In 1881 she was living at 8 Artillery Street, Canterbury, KentG, in the household of her parents William and Rachel, and was recorded as Mary A Sackett, aged 13 and born in Canterbury.6
