Ellen Rosina Sackett, daughter of Frank William Silvester Sackett and Lily Churm, was born in Chiswick, MiddlesexG, on 25 January 1899.1,2,3 She died aged 71 in Tonbridge, KentG, in 1970.4 She married in Maidstone, KentG, in 1918, Leonard Butler, son of James Butler and Maria Warnett.5 Leonard was born in Yalding, KentG, in 1894.2,6
     In 1901 Ellen was living at 2 Hunt Street, ChiswickG, in the household of her parents Frank and Lily, and was recorded in the census as Ellen Sackett, aged two and born in Chiswick.7
     In 1911 she was living at 17 Paxton Road, ChiswickG, in the household of her parents Frank and Lily, and was recorded as Ellen Sackett, aged 12 and born in Chiswick.8
     In 1921 she was living at Killicks Cottages, YaldingG, in the household of her husband Leonard Butler, 26, a worker at the McDougal & Yalding factory, and was recorded as Ellen Rosina Butler, aged 22. Their son Roy, aged one was living with them.9
     At the outbreak of the Second World War in September 1939, Ellen was living at 10 Council Cottages, Yalding, Maidstone Rural District, KentG.10
