Anne Elizabeth Sackett, daughter of John Ashby Sackett and Elizabeth Sophia Silvester, was born in Pancras, MiddlesexG, in 1861.1 She married in Thanet, KentG, in 1880, Edward Moody, a grocer.2,3
In 1871 Anne was living at 19 Chapel Place, Ramsgate, KentG, in the household of her parents John and Elizabeth, and was recorded in the census as Elizabeth Sackett, a scholar, aged 9, and born in London.4
In 1881 she was living at 24 Southwood Terrace, St Lawrence in Thanet, KentG, in the household of her husband Edward, a grocer, and was recorded as Annie Moody, aged 19, and born in Middlesex. Living with them were their son Edward, aged four months, Annie's 12-year-old brother Frank Sackett, and Mary Foster, a 70-year-old lodger.5
