Doris Ada Sackett, daughter of William Smith Sackett and Laura Catherine McKenna, was born at 2 St Stephen's Place, St Jacques, St Peter Port, GuernseyG, on 23 September 1905.1 She married first at St Pancras, LondonG, in 1926, Albert D Daniell.2,3 She married second at St PancrasG in 1947, Arthur Herauville.4,5
     In 1911 Doris was living at Les Osmonds, St Sampson'sG, in the household of her parents William and Laura, and was recorded in the census as Doris Ada Sackett, aged five and born in St Peter Port.6
     In 1921 she was living at 3 New Paris Street, St Peter Port, GuernseyG, and was recorded as Doris Ada Sackett, aged 15. She was boarding with her father William and sister Catherine in the household of William's sister Laura and brother-in-law Thomas Keyho.7
