Alfred E Sackett, son of Alfred Sackett and Permelia Varvell, was born in CaliforniaG in about 1871.1 He married in CaliforniaG in February 1892, Lupa Rosa.2
     In 1880 Alfred was living at Los Nietos, Los Angeles County, CaliforniaG, in the household of his widowed mother Permelia, and was recorded in the census as Alfred E Sackett, a schoolboy, aged eight and born in California.1
