Minerva Sackett, daughter of Benjamin Sackett and Betty Eldred, was born in Warren, Litchfield County, ConnecticutG, on 5 December 18031 and baptized at the Congregational Church of Christ, WarrenG, on 5 February 1804.2 She died aged 83 on 3 April 1887 and was buried at the Old Burying Ground, WarrenG.3 She married as his second wife in Warren, Litchfield County, ConnecticutG, on 9 September 1838, Silas Comstock, son of Solon Comstock and Nabby Kenney.4,1,5 Silas was born in South Williamstown, MassachusettsG, on 11 February 17926 and died on 20 March 1854.6
     Minerva was admitted to membership of the Congregational Church of Christ, WarrenG, on 6 May 1821.7 She was later dismissed to the First Presbyterian Church, Canfield, Mahoning County, OhioG.
     Minerva attended a reunion of some thirty Sackett relations at the home in Washington, ConnecticutG, of Simeon and Malinda (Sackett) Ford on 13 August 1873.
