Churchville: Peacefully at home on his farm on June 17, 2015 at age 82. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Joyce; their children, Lorie (John) McCreedy, Jim (Sally) Sackett, Jay (Alex Neubert) Sackett; grandchildren, Bradley (Brooke) McCreedy, Michelle (Steve) Miles, Lacey (Sean) Carroll, Jeremy (Ashley) Sackett, Jesse (Andrea)Sackett, Kevin (Stephanie) Sackett, Kyle (Kateri Gormley) Sackett ; great-grandchildren, Jack Griffin, Grace McCreedy, Lila Miles, Clementine Sackett; several nieces and nephews. Lynn was a lifelong farmer, specializing in dairy and vegetables, He served on the Caledonia-Mumford School Board for 16 years, and as a Clifton Fireman for 62 years.
Friends may call Sunday 4-7PM at Alhart Funeral Home, 3068 W. Main St., Caledonia. His Funeral Service will be held Monday 10AM at St. Columba Church, 198 North St., Caledonia. Interment Westside Cemetery, Chili. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Clifton Fire Dept., 53 Wheatland Center Rd., Churchville, NY 14428 or Honor Flight Rochester, P.O.
