Caleb Sacket, son of Russell Sacket and Polly Brass, was born in 18151 and died in 1882.1 He married in Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts, on 4 August 1841, Jerusha Blood, daughter of Eleazer Blood and Hannah Paddock.1,2,3,4
     In 1870 Caleb was living at Westfield and was recorded in the census as Cabel Sackett, a farmer, aged 54, and born in Massachusetts. Living with him were his wife Jerusha, aged 52, and born in Massachusetts, and son Frank, aged 12. Sharing the property were the family of Celestia (Doane) Sacket, widow of Caleb's second cousin, Enoch Sacket.5
     In 1880 he was living in Westfield and was recorded as Caleb Sackett, a farmer, head of household, married, aged 65 and born in Massachusetts. Living with him were his wife Jerusha, aged 62 and born in Massachusetts, and their unmarried son Frank E, aged 21.6
