John Sackett, son of Justus Sackett and Anna Lyon, was born in Greenwich, Fairfield County, Connecticut, on 24 May 1784.1,2,3,4 He died aged 79 in Greenwich, Fairfield County, Connecticut, on 14 February 18641,3 and was buried in the Second Congregational Church Cemetery, Greenwich.3 He married first at the Second Congregational Church, Greenwich, Fairfield County, Connecticut, on 12 July 1809, Mary Mead, daughter of Whitman Mead and Rachel Mead.1,5 Mary was born on 14 February 1789.6,4 She died aged 35 in Greenwich on 24 August 18246 and was buried in the Second Congregational Church Cemetery.6 He married second in Greenwich on 9 January 1829, Cornelia Olmstead, daughter of Daniel Olmstead.7,8
